The Unique System of mutual education and upbringing

The idea of creating a children’s ensemble was caused by the desire for developing children as personalities, expanding their intellectual and mental world by harmonic unity with the dance art.

V.V. Beloglazov developed and implemented his unique System of mutual education and upbringing which successfully was applied in the ensemble. This system means that an educator plays a role of observer, wise motivator and regulator of the whole process of upbringing whereas senior children play a role of “active educators and tutors”. In such terms self-improvement becomes an essential part of their own authority and effectiveness of their educational influence on juniors. This system is applied in many member states of the Russian Federation and the working experience of the ensemble is used in different on-stage performance groups and schools in Russia.

The main basis of such a unique system is so called “patron’s families”. It means that all members of ensemble are organized in microgroups-families according to the age – “senior - middle – junior”. Through such family unities senior students learn how to care about juniors, they introduce the active working process in the ensemble to the juniors, they pass them the ensemble traditions and engrain moral values.

On the basis of an ongoing teaching system there is a complex educational program which has been successfully carrying out for many years. Students learn classical and folk dance, theory and technique of acting skills, gymnastics and acrobatics.

To develop children into moral human beings there are lessons of family education in the ensemble. During these lessons students form their moral and spiritual values, bring up the culture of interpersonal communication, found the traditional family living principles.

Without knowledge of the culture history it’s impossible to bring up a professional dancer who carries art from the stage. Thus there are lessons of “Music education” in the ensemble. During these lessons students get to know musical art, learn basic music genres, works of famous composers and history of world ballet.

There is a self-rule counsel in the ensemble, which is made to stimulate creative skills of young dancers. Participating in counsel children learn responsibility, organization, time efficiency, they also have an opportunity to show their organization skills and talents.

Club activity makes life in the ensemble very special. Several times a year educators together with children organize classes in such clubs as “Fairy tales”, “Pochemuchki” (so called “Whyers”), “Zolotoy rozhok” (“Golden cornet”). Participating in the club of “Interesting meetings”, children meet different culture workers from Russia and other countries who visit Amur region.
